INMEL 21/20
The INMEL 21 calibrator is destined to check and control systems and industrial automatic control devices such as controllers, recorders, meters, etc. Moreover, it can be used for checking and adjustment of temperature measuring systems and also systems in which thermocouples and Pt 100 resistors are used..
The calibrator can be supplied from the mains or from a battery, which makes it suitable for mobile using.
The wide range temperature operation makes use of it in workshops.

The calibrator is equipped with :
- 1 resistance range corresponding to Pt 100 resistor characteristic.
- 1 direct voltage range of 10 V.
- 2 direct current ranges of 5 mA and 20 mA.
- 3 thermoelectric voltage ranges corresponding to thermocouples of the J [ Fe-CuNi], the K [ NiCr-NiAl], the S [PtRh10-Pt] type.
The three mode operation is possible at the J, K and S ranges :
- the THCPL mode [ a thermocouple]: The voltage adequate to set temperature and a thermocouple type is given to an output of the calibrator, the instrument is connected through compensating leads to a measuring system in the place of a real thermocouple.
- the SYSTEM 50°C mode [a thermocouple + a thermostat 50°C]: The voltage adequate to set temperature and a thermocouple type is given to the output of the calibrator assuming that a reference junction of a thermocouple exists at temperature of 50°C, the instrument is connected through two leads made of the same material to a measuring system in the place of a thermostat output signal.
- the SYSTEM 0°C mode [a thermocouple + a thermostat 0°C] : The voltage adequate to set temperature and a thermocouple type is given to the output of the calibrator assuming that a reference junction of a thermocouple exists at temperature of 0°C, the instrument is connected through two leads made of the same material to an outside system.
